dans521
I live in new zealand and due to this, h190 diffs are rather hard to come by, im currently doing a ka24e with carbs swap on my 521 which originally had a j15 in it, am also using shorter tires, meaning with the 4.8/4.6 gearing the diff has, its going to rev its head off. so i have a couple options i found someone wrecking a 720 that had an l18, what ratio would this have (checked the tag but has nothing ands its in the middle of a field) potentionlly use another diff, what options are there? 1 Quote Link to comment

datzenmike
Look on the driver's side inner fender below the hood hinge for the engine tag. Actually it may be on your left hand passenger side inner fender. Are fenders called wings down there? Near the bottom TRANS.AXLE...... FS5W71B...... HF38 (yours may be a 4 speed F4W71B?) H.... solid axle with removable 3rd member F..... (I think) is the diameter of 190mm 38... 3.80 ratio. 41 is 4.10, 43 is 4.375, 46 is 4.625 and so on 1 Quote Link to comment
Charlie69
On the passenger inner fender in the USA (not sure ofother countries) is a vin tag that gives the Engine trans and rear end information. Quote Link to comment
