72 510 Wagon, can't find front brake lines.

Originally I bought some relatively inexpensive brake lines from rockauto, mechanic says they are too short.  Then I bought these,

Mechanic says they still aren't long enough.  What's the deal?  And where can I find brake lines that actually fit my car, thanks!

Centric brake lines for the front of a 510 are:

Part #150.42004 and 370mm long (14.57") so your steel 15.5" should be more than long enough.

Something else might be going on.

Do your brakes look like this?

Brake line comes from the connector at the frame rail, then up and into the side of the caliper.

Good luck  let us know what happens.

Those are Akebono manufactured Lockheed Disc Brakes and should be for the original 510s, not the later imitation ones.  Tapered brake shoes are the tip off.

As soon as I walk into the shop the manager tells me they were simply mistaken.  Apparently confused due to the original brake lines being somewhere around 20 inches.  The steel ones ended up fitting, thanks for the help 😛
