datzenmike
Worn shocks give a very harsh ride on any vehicle. Without them a spring absorbs all the bump energy and releases it back to the tire which rebounds the energy back to the spring and this can happen several times till it dampens out. Worst, a tire ca even lift off the ground which is not good in a turn. Jump in the bed, try to get it bouncing. Stop suddenly. If the truck continues more than 1/2 a bounce they could be replaced. Are any leaking or wet? Remove and see if you can open and close them easily. Some will collapse freely for several inches before there is resistance. Quote Link to comment
