Power windows

I have a 85 ST with manual windows, and I have some door with power windows. Will my truck with the manual windows have the wiring for the power window doors?

From what I’ve read , power windows have to stay in doors that came with power windows. No provision for power windows on manual doors

The inner door skins are too different between roll up and electrical.Much easier to swap doors which are all the same IIRC.

 

The wiring will not be in your truck so if you find an electric window get the wiring or wire it up yourself. Everything will be on the door all you need is a power supply. Make sure it is fused.

No the wiring harness from the truck with the power doors is needed also.

 

I am up grading my 86 720 2wd King Cab to power doors and have harvested the the power door harnesses also.

Do I need the complete harness from under the dash? I have the harness coming from the doors when I took them off of my old truck.

My FSM barely mentioned this option and it isn't in the wiring diagram either. If you have the wires from the door you should be able to cobble something together to make it work. I put second gen 200sx electric windows in my 620. I used 70s GM electric door switches.

I get the complete dash and engine compartment harness and will be changing the complete harness when I install the electric doors.

 

I have not been able to find a factory wiring diagram on the electric doors.
