620 tension rod bushing comparison

 I see, the early had similar/same LCA, but Thomas' is the later style 4x4 arm, which the 2wd didn't use

I think it did. 2 and 4wd had the same basic design and there were no tension rods out front after '82.

I've got a late front clip that says otherwise 🤷‍♂️. 2wd has basic LCA with tension rods, as does the hardbody after it. I was wrong about the early 4x4 not having 2wd style LCA.

OK 720 all years 2wd have lower control arms like the 521/620 before it and D21 after and forward reaching tension rods.

 

720 4wd had basically the same as the 2wd front suspension till end of '82 then 4wd front tension rods removed and changed to a rear facing 'tension rod'. 

 

Matt I have pictures and part numbers and sometimes hard to match them up.

That sounds right. Like I said, I didn't know the early 4x4 had 2wd style arms. Makes sense as to why the front axles/etc are also different those years
