720Girl
So, when I got my truck it didn't come with the windshield wiper motor or reservoir so I picked them both up for about $15 at my local junk yard. How can I go about installing this. I have a 1980 Datsun 720 with an '83 Z24 motor and tranny. 1 Quote Link to comment
bottomwatcher
Did you pull them yourself? If dealing with a yard that doesn't allow you pull, plead to at least watch the Uninstaller because you just need to reverse the process. Do you have a manual? Follow that and if you get stuck come here, but most of the install is straitforward. Make sure to get the hardware (bolts) that come with it, because if your stuff is missing, the hardware is probably missing. 1 Quote Link to comment

Lockleaf
I'm not really sure what you are asking. The wiper linkage just shoves on to the wiper motor and the motor screws in place on the passenger side of the firewall. You will likely need to remove the cowl over the wiper linkage in order to connect it to the motor. The reservoir also goes on the passenger side. If you need a play by play, download the factory service manual. Look at Datsun510.com/manuals. 2 Quote Link to comment
