Droski
Is a 1968 pick up gas tank identical to a 1966 520 pick up gas tank? Quote Link to comment
HOGIE
I don't know but I have a 68 520 tank for sale that has been hot tank cleaned, acid(kills rust) treated, repaired and pressure tested. PM me if your interested. Quote Link to comment
wayno
It should be the same, when they started doing the vapor thing they added another fitting on the tank. I actually use that fitting for the fuel return line. Quote Link to comment
HOGIE
I need one of those later tanks with the vapor seperated line when I do my KA swap. Quote Link to comment

I just put a "T" in the vent line for the gas tank fill tube when I first added a return line, then I used a later tank with the extra fitting. Quote Link to comment
HOGIE
Does the tube/fuel line, on the inside of the tank, for the vapor separator line go all the way to the bottom like the supply line? That would be great for not agitating the fuel when the tank gets low. Not a good thing for fuel injection. Quote Link to comment

Crashtd420
You can always add whatever you want to your original gas tank hogie.... I bought one of these as a pick up tube to change my 1/4 pickup to a 3/8 pickup tube... it's an npt fitting and you cut the tube to whatever length you want... radiator shop did it for me... not sure if they have different sizes or not, never looked beyond what I needed...
