Crashtd420
This should work?... do they look like this...? Saw the same part number on ebay... $14 shipped from red line.... Quote Link to comment
d.p
I am down to do that, but with what? Cereal box? Guess I can buy gasket material and make it from that as well. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Just about anything even store bought gasket material. Take a good look at the original gasket, isn't much better than cereal box. Get a $2 hole punch from the dollar store and away you go. Quote Link to comment
Crashtd420
That's one way.... auto parts store sells a make your own gasket matterial.... just make sure it's ok for gas.... I remember seeing 2 different types when I bought some.... Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
My thermostat housing and cover are cereal box, as is the water pump. Would not use on manifolds or exhaust. Oil pan gasket needs to be much thicker and crushable. Quote Link to comment
d.p
Well I have all the other gaskets so I don't need to make those and the carb one should be easy enough with that red block plate that goes inbetween the carb and manifold. I can just trace that. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Hole punch for the bolts and to get a start with scissors for the two barrels. Make two. Put on dry never use sealant it's not needed and or you'll never get them off again. 1 Quote Link to comment
