Transfer Case Lever Boot

Hey All,

 

I've got an '85 720 4x4 and the transfer case shift lever boot had a rat encounter. I cannot seem to find one in the Nissan part stack-ups, nor on eBay, Amazon, parts.nissanusa.com, anywhere. I'm probably searching for the wrong name, or in the wrong places. Any help would be appreciated.

is the part. It looks ok there but in between the front pleats is all missing. I'd also be up to repair it with some form of glue/epoxy and some rubber sheet, but would like advice on what the best options for those two materials is.

74964-41W00 is the part number. Start a want ad in our classifieds and get the right thing.

I think the part is 74964-41W00, which is NLA, but I've seen mention of it still available as of '14 and '15.

I'm on the cheap end of $60, any thoughts on a repair with rubber cement a bike tube? Or something bodgey like that.

Good used one, cheap plus shipping... could happen. Better that an inner tube.

Get the dimensions and find an aftermarket one?

Duct tape can fix anything, or find after market close to the same size
