dgi
A long while back I found and refurbished some 13" Libre wheels from back in the day. They set in my closet for several years, but I finally got some tires mounted and was ready to rock them.... but, the brakes needed doing and whole front end was a bit sketchy... you know how it goes. So, it all got done and then the car went directly into winter storage. Finally got it out and I've been driving it for the last few days. No A/C, so I usually only drive it in the spring and fall. I plan to enjoy it for the next month or so. I'm happy with the "old school" look. This time I have a phone with a camera on me, so here the pics are. Enjjoy! dgi 3 Quote Link to comment

dgi
Thanks for the comments everyone. @pondking - No, I don't plan on any flares. Not needed for the tires/wheel combination I run and the type of driving I do. I will be adding a front lip at some point, hopefully soon. I had one on there but broke it on curb. Actually, I say I broke it on purpose because I really didn't like it. So, I'm searching for one that suits my taste. I have a BRE style that is really ancient and maybe just a little warped that doesn't fit very well, so I will keep looking. For the spec interest: Car was produced 5/72 for the Canadian market. Has the '73 features. Running a L20B with SU Carbs, Has about 1500 miles on the engine now. Matchbox distributor, Dogleg 5 speed. Original front struts with KYB ZX inserts setting on 1.126" spacers, Front coils cut 1 1/4 round, Rear coils cut 3/4 coil with KYB shocks, 13" Libre wheels with 185/7513 tires. Refurbished door card, front buckets, and rear seat. New carpet. Here is an engine bay shot. 1 Quote Link to comment
Draker
I need one of those fuel hardlines... and coolant bypass hoses! The first one is tough to come by... Nice looking engine bay though! Quote Link to comment
