datzenmike Posted February 11, 2016 Report Share Posted February 11, 2016 saw Didn't come that way from factory. All were 3 joint 2 part driveshafts. The 720 reg cab short wheelbase has 2 joint single driveshaft. KC and Long beds or all long wheelbase trucks had the 3 joint 2piece driveshaft as did all Cab/Chassis models or automatics regardless of wheelbase. 1 Quote Link to comment
1974hellarust Posted April 5, 2016 Author Report Share Posted April 5, 2016 Alright you guys I haven't seen or felt any type of wear yet in that drive line and the car drives smoother than ever. I will continue to update if I see or feel any changes. Since my truck is lowered pretty much as low as it can without sitting on the bump stops. the straight shaft doesn't touch on anything and looks to have the perfect angle.
