Air bag (and brake) question

Any insight as to whether it's easier/better to do an air bag conversion on the early front end (kingpin?) or the later (ball joint)? And if one has the ability to go lower than the other?

Going to start on building a '77 620KC soon and it came with a spare complete '78 frame (disc brakes and ball joints).

Also curious if anyone has ever tried a 4-lug hub on a 620 spindle?

If I had to guess, it would be better to bag with kingpins since they don't bind up And wear out like balljoints do. As for the 4 lug swap it would be way less hassle just to do the toyota 5 lug swap, you wouldnt have to machine the spindles as much and if im not mistaken the rear axle shafts have the same splines. "Don't hold me to that"

I was planning a 280ZX rear suspension, so that's why I want 4-lug fronts. And I already have a set of 4-lug wheels that would be perfect for it...

there's a 4 lug 620 up here in the Puget sound. Can't remember fully what he did other than extra holes and stock parts so if he wants to return to six lug in the future it's just moving and adding lugs.

I know some guys machine down the hubs on the outside for clearance with certain wheels. Might be able to machine it down and redrill it to 4-lug...
