Elkie
Looking at radiators for ka swaps, looks like the jetta radiator would be too wide. Looks like the rabbit radiator would fit, but have read the don't cool enough. Anyone have any others they have gotten to work? 1 Quote Link to comment
EastBay521
ive seen a 240sx radiator used fit perfect 1 Quote Link to comment
Elkie
Any pics? I've got a 240 radiator, and even resting on the frame it sits about an inch or two above the core support. 1 Quote Link to comment
datson4life
Ive seen 240 radiators aswell, but none with a closed hood, im gonna try a stock thicker 521 radiator, the aluminum ones, theres a dude doing that, im waiting to see how it turns out 1 Quote Link to comment
EastBay521
^youre rite about the closed hood part both of the ones I seen didn't have one.. Pontiac Fiero radiators cool a v6 should do fine with a ka they fit and are slim you will just need to find hoses to fit 1 Quote Link to comment

Charlie69
I put this type radiator in my 520 only difference is the filler spout and the top hose location as mine was the SR swap model radiator. I am setup with an L20B. http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-ROW-ALUMINUM-RADIATOR-2X-10-FAN-FITS-68-73-NISSAN-DATSUN-510-KA24DE-KA-SWAP-/400706566865 Radiator support mod 1 Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
I have a 521 Champion radiator and an A10 Z20 radiator here. There are freakishly close...I think I remember sizing it up when Kevin_Shits was planning a KA swap. I'll take some pics and measurements of them tomorrow. 2 Quote Link to comment

Elkie
This is the 240sx radiator. Width isn't horrible. but way too tall Quote Link to comment
Elkie
Charlie69 the 521 headlight buckets make for a narrower area, and I would like to leave room for a/c hoses to go through wall. Quote Link to comment
datson4life
I used an rx7 radiator, fit nice, but it was a lame design and only about 30% efficient, always ran a little hotter than normal, but then again it was over 100 degrees th . Days i drove it Quote Link to comment
socaldatsun
i've used the scirocco style radiator by afco. A few different companies make it like afco, griffin and summit makes there own. griffin is the cheapest one out of all of them. those hoses are in the right spot and pretty small to its size but it is thick (3inch core) and for fans i used 2X8inch fans from perma-cool with a shroud. 1 Quote Link to comment

flatcat19
521 vs. A10 equipped w/Z20S Note: That is a Champion radiator for the 521. When first looking at the pics you will see that they definitely are not the same size. As you scroll through you will notice that they are almost proportionally equal. In the last pic you can size up how it will sit compared to the rad you have now. Since it bolts to the core you can cover the opening better-I think. I remember sizing it in puperkevin's 521, spacing it evenly. Looked like it would do the trick. That was quite a while ago though. Getting one from a Z20S equipped A10(later-model 510) will put the inlet/outlet in proper orientation for a KA; E or DE. Core sizing; not tanks or mounting Champion 521---19" Wide, 10 1/2" High, 2 1/4" Deep. A10/Z20S---21 1/4" Wide, 14 1/2" High, 1 1/2" Deep. Quote Link to comment

EastBay521
I wonder how a 720 radiator with a z24 would compare to the z20. Might be a better choice if its bigger? 1 Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
Pics of 720 radiators look so much wider than the A10s. 1 Quote Link to comment
Charlie69
The 720 radiator is wider I have some where that needs re-cored if I can find it I will take measurements It resembles the one I put in my 520. 1 Quote Link to comment
