Marsh510 Posted February 6, 2015 Report Share Posted February 6, 2015 Dumb question, but its been a while since ive done the oil change for my car, and completely forgot what kind of oil to put. any recommendations for a built l20, has l28 flattop pistons, ported u67 head, unsure of mild cam, and dual 45 webers. thanks! datzenmike Posted February 7, 2015 Report Share Posted February 7, 2015 I rock Delo400 15-w40 in my Datsuns. Me too. That's Chevron Dell 400. Shell Rotella T 15w40 is also good. Just go to NAPA and ask for an oil that's good for a flat tappet engine. They'll know what you need. DO NOT run any form of synthetic oil on a new engine, get 5-10K on it first so it is well broken in. Quote Link to comment
