j_boy_619
Would these fit/work a 1975 b210? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Street-Edge-2-Universal-Extruded-Aluminum-Lowering-Block-Complete-Kit-/281542055339?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item418d36d5ab&vxp=mtr The cheapest kit ive found so for is $80. so if these work that would be cool they are 2.20 inchs wide Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
$50 to ship? Rubbish!!! Just buy the U bolts at the hardware store and two 4" long sections of 2"X2" steel square channel tubing. Obviously get 1/4" thick for strength. Probably $10 including the cutting. Quote Link to comment
j_boy_619
No i mean I found a set for 60 but 20 for shipping. Then I found these ones so I was hoping they would fit cuz theyre cheaper Quote Link to comment
j_boy_619
I just want to know if this set will fit. I checked the 1200 site and they said the B210s axle was a 2.20 so i was thinking just maybe these will fit Quote Link to comment

charolastra
Blocks or rearching leafs? What is the best option? If I want to lower my car 3" Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Blocks are faster cheaper and easier than re-arching. In either case the spring should be stiffened to reduce suspension travel and the resulting bottoming out on the pavement. If adding blocks a smaller 'load leveler' coil can be clamped to the shock. If re arching the springs have an extra leaf added. I've also seen the front and rear of a leaf spring bent downwards. Quote Link to comment
j_boy_619
doesnt look like my option was going to work Quote Link to comment
j_boy_619
fudge. having no luck finding a set. Might have to start looking into making my own now Quote Link to comment
SlammedSunny
They are very simple to make, 2x2 solid aluminum roughly 4-5/8" long (thats from memory and could be wrong), drill a hole straight through the center, tap it on one side and install a Socket head cap screw as a centering pin; Done. As for the U bolts, i took my stock ones down to a local 4x4 shop and asked them to make me a set of 4 with the same dimensions but 2" longer. All said and done i made my own 2" blocks for under $40 in one day. If you want exact measurements let me know and ill grab some pictures and measure them for you. Quote Link to comment

thatdirtykid
Jboy what bumpers are those? I like the stance too, how does the front fit? any rub, what tire size? Quote Link to comment
j_boy_619
front is from a toyota corona i found at the junkyard and the rears were the bumperettes from some old volvo or something. like 1960s as for the tires, they are 185/60/14. They rubbed a little so i just pulled out the fender a bit. It rides nice and turns sooo much better, but on a shit road you feel it :hyper: Quote Link to comment
thatdirtykid
Sweet, good to hear I like the tire size and fit. I also am running 185/60s but have not gone lower yet. I bet a corona bumper is easier to find at a decent price than JDM Sunny bumpers. Quote Link to comment
