rhd_ole
I've been trying to figure out the paint on my Bluebird Coupe. I see so many different gold/yellow colors, I'm not sure which it is. The car looks so different depending on the light. Here are a few different pictures of it, it's yellow, bronze, gold... I'm also looking for what this sensor/relay is? I thought it was the horn relay, but from what I found, they usually are three wire. This is 4. It came off the shock tower area. Sorry for the worse pictures possible. Quote Link to comment
Dattokai
http://community.ratsun.net/topic/38158-datsun-paint-and-codes/ Check your core support for a number also. It's near the middle on the right, it's engraved so look closely. I don't have a photo for reference, maybe someone else will. Quote Link to comment
rhd_ole
Yeah I know about the core support, but my issue is the car was repainted, I know I've seen the color before but I can't find it again, and it's hard to compare with it looking so different in each type of light. MikeRL411
I think that's one of the "prismatic" paints. They came out on show cars and SEMA display vehicles several years ago and one manufacturer [uS Domestic I think] actually sold vehicles with that type of paint. Can't help any further, hope this blows the cobwebs out of someone's head who can give solid info on paint manufacturer. I would call the color "Root Beer." Quote Link to comment
Laecaon
Take the gas door into a automotive paint shop. They might know a lot more. Quote Link to comment

On a US spec car, this would be the Reverse indicator switch used in conjunction with the automatic trans. And yes it would have 3 wires. I can't say for certain if it's used the same for the JDM car. Perhaps you should PM the510keeper, as he probably has the most experience with Coupes. Quote Link to comment
