Datsun Taillight Identification

I have no idea which Datsun this belongs to;

Just a guess but I think the "69" indicates the year it was approved for use and it sure looks like a Z car tail so my guess would be early 70's Z.

There were only Roadsters, 240z, 1200s and 510s around that year. I can't find anything even close.

 

You sure it's even a Datsun light?

Close but yours is arrow shape to the left.

 

This one has a 90 degree corner upper left. Maybe a different year???

Maybe, i found a discussion about thsi same tail light on ebay, no one could figure out the lense, closest thing i could find. prob later year, but i have a feeling def mazda.  maybe toyota lol

The lense looks nearly identicle, makes me wonder if someone switched light housings, or some kind of aftermarket housing?  Just the lense looks almost identicle.  But then again my eyes suck.

It is totally feasible (and by the looks of it) this is a Mazda taillight.

 

The seller also had old school Mazda and Toyota taillights for sale in addition to many Datsun lights (mostly 210 and b210 but some real gems too!!).

 

I bought the Datsun lights 'cause I am unsure of the market for old Toyota and Mazda taillights.

 

Still, I am wondering if I should get the Mazda and Toyota taillights...just to have them!!!!
