When I was logging I worked my ass off, then I went to work for the government, it took them a while but they finally broke down my work ethic. Hard work was looked down upon because it made the other people in whatever crew you were in look Lazy

Rick it took me close to 6 years before they broke me down. I still get nervous or antsy if I'm not being productive on the clock.

I got caught shop lifting while shopping with my Mom when I was a kid. I grabbed a piece of bubble gum from the penny candy counter at Thriftys.

The manager saw me snake it and called my Mom out on it. She beat my ass all the way home.

 

Everytime we stopped at a light she would reach over and smack me right up side the head. I don't think I ever took anything after that without paying for it.

 

Well except maybe a little bacon when no one is looking

OK that makes sence. I've heard that before. If you work to hard or even do your job the rest of the crew might be waiting in the parking lot for you after work.

Ever since I tried to buy a 200sx off of Ecology about 3 years ago, and they wanted literally $2000 and it was missing an engine, and on top of that that was IF they were willing to sell it, which had to go through corporate first. Ridiculous.

 

Since that, I have not given a fucking shit about stealing from them.

I dont see pocketing bolts and knobs from pnp stealing. That $2 entry fee covers what I stuff in my pocket. Now I would never ask someone else to pocket bolts and knobs for me, Thats just rude.
