Looks like shit but no gaps and no burn through, didn't get the small patch all the way yet going to try n get it and the medium finished and most of the large one done tomorrow. BlackBird620 Posted February 25, 2014 Author Report Share Posted February 25, 2014 Got all 6 bolts out of the bed on the reg cab but some idiot welded a portion of the bed to the frame at the rear so I'm going to get that cut completely tomorrow and start on the kc which has 8 bolts that need to be taken out 2 of the ones on the reg cab that portion of the frame was cut Quote Link to comment

No pics my camera lady is 36weeks pregnant and lays around now to keep from being sore I'm not going to force her to take pics till after the baby is born Quote Link to comment

BlackBird620 Posted March 11, 2014 Author Report Share Posted March 11, 2014 Got everything ready to pull on Phoenix today will probably be Thurs or Friday before I start pulling going to fill all the holes in the engine bay and remove the battery tray. stripped the inner fenders of everything Total joke how the po filled the holes they used clear silicone Battery tray will be removed tomorrow along with the tombstone Also on a side note in 73 the bed bolts were studs with a catch tab well the tabs bent or broke removed with welder in the later models the have a bolt head so you can put a socket on um Quote Link to comment
BlackBird620 Posted March 12, 2014 Author Report Share Posted March 12, 2014 Cut the battery tray most of the way out little worse than I thought, but better than blackbirds And yes to all who ask I put a NRG srk 140h hub in my truck no I didn't have to modify anything and I guess it doesn't bolt up to every 620 ok I pulled it off and tried to put it on my other truck wouldn't work on it so I don't know what's different on Phoenix but it wouldn't clear the threads on blackbird Quote Link to comment
