Hello everyone, my names Ron, I'm from the little island of Guam and I'm making this thread to share my truck and log its progress. Not much funds right now so things will be slow. Looking forward to learn from you guys as well. Feedback and opinions welcome! ^_^

So this is my truck, I only had a permit when I first got it and I learned how to drive standard in it.

This is a little bit after i first got it registered for Guam.(truck came from California).

Rolled around with stock for a while until my god brother gave me a nice set of Toyota offset 8 rims.

Truck with them on still at stock height.

Finally lowered it with 3 in drop blocks and evened it out with the front. (my god brothers 81 Toyota in front)

Went to a car show for my school and actually got 2nd place for best truck, lol weren't many trucks in the show division but it was a fun night. It was a car show in the pits of our drag strip so got to drag race too!(I was slow! )

Fast forward two years later and I haven't done anything to the truck, just recently started getting back into it.

I had a coolant leak coming from my water pump and my old fan clutch was wobbling so i got a new pump and belt and changed it last year december 2013.

Got bored the other day so i decided to paint my rusty air filter cover.

Painted it with Ironlak, Augors blackout and Frazetta.

Gives you the idea. This is in my rig actually. Its from a 4wd though so the bottom left light would just be a block-off plate if it was to be perfectly correct. I can't say for yours but my 85 had all the plugs already in the harness and wired and hanging out behind the cluster, they were just waiting for it.

Nissan made 720s from '83-'86 all interchangeable. I don't really know how to word it but yeah. They made the wiring harnesses the same as the 4x4 720s with all the options just without all the options in the 2 wheel drive pickups. So all the plugs are there, all you have to do is get the gauges from a truck that has them an they plug right in. The ST model 2 wheel drive trucks came with all the gauges and stuff that the 4x4 720s came with. That's why you'll find open plugs underneath your dash and hood.

I've been trying to get all the options on my truck. I just need the center console, oil pressure and battery gauges and an ST steering wheel.
