king bee66 Posted August 11, 2013 Report Share Posted August 11, 2013 dude, if you are having trouble getting the seat belts out, please for the love of god, put the ratchet down and step away from the datsun. it really is as simple as taking the covers off and unbolting them. they are large bolts, like a 17mm, IIRC Quote Link to comment

datzenmike Posted August 11, 2013 Report Share Posted August 11, 2013 I've done this before either on a 521 or a B-210. Seems to me the 19mm wasn't a perfect fit. Try a 3/4" socket. These were made in Japan but had to be serviced here. Back in the day mechanics didn't always have metric tools so the safety restraint system had to be 'user friendly.' Quote Link to comment
