BadWagon
After an epic weekend battle with my sandblaster I AM VICTORIOUS!!!!! what a pain in the ass... so only a few pics of this weekends adventures Steering removed 280ZX donors.. Tearing them down... would have been far easier IN a damn car, they were damn tight! Quote Link to comment
BadWagon
Set up my redneck paint booth nice to see "555" stampled on all the moog components! attempted to fit my Datsun competition wheel,,, sadly its for a smaller diameter column... b210 maybe? Quote Link to comment
BadWagon
Not a huge update... but parts have begun to arrive and I found a few hours to kill in the garage last night working on gettting the car back on the wheels with the new suspension, Mr2 rear strut inserts in 280zx struts and coilovers. 280zx stuff shortened 3/4" welded up.. and welded on a collar to hold my coilover... no its not high end stuff sorry painted.. and ready to assemble Quote Link to comment
housew
I dig it a lot. also like the wealth of pictures, damn good way to do a build thread. so far you helped me identify my front struts (I thought they were 280zx struts, this verified) and helped me identify the PCV fitting on my sr20det. what did you end up doing (if anything) with the T fitting? BadWagon
I dont have much time these days to spend in the garage so its progressing VERY slowly.. as in... bolting in a strut was all I could do the last time I was in the garage.. I found the hardware for the MR2 inserts was missing... and I've misplaced my coilover spring top hats. I think I'd rather order a T3 coilover set up with camber plates but I just wont have the cash for awhile. I recently picked a parts order BUT havent taken pics for some reason Griffin rad 200sx rear calipers and rotors new front rotors ARP extended wheel studs 620 motor mounts and a few misc pieces for the racepak and wideband I needed I plan to install a simple 90deg elbow for the pcv when I get there. Atomic
Well if the turbo is going to be too close the hood, the paint will start to rip off someday, scoop mby? Quote Link to comment
BadWagon
oh.... grand visions of industrial looking rivets.. copper or raw steel "bump" on the hood has already crossed my mind... ALOT In interest of getting the car on the road sooner I have even toyed with findind the appropriate T3/T4 for the manifold... but I just dont wanna  Quote Link to comment
BadWagon
Found another hour in the garage ARP... just cause both sides assembled and back into the car... next is steering linkage and brake calipers and it can drop back down 1 Quote Link to comment

What brackets are you planning on running in the rear? I still need to decide whether to keep the rear drum set up or find some brackets to convert to disc. Quote Link to comment
