NC! Where are my 620's at?

Recommended Posts

So,

I am from Oregon, as you can tell! And im having one major issue with adjusting to this state.

Reason being, I cannot find, a 620 for the life of me.

I have seen a few re-done 510's.

Im on the search for a 620, preferably un-restored.

Hopefully, around Christmas time, I have the funds saved up. And I have located the beast!

So I can get my project rolling.

Anyone know of one sitting around? Have one? Know a guy?

Or maybe your just thinking about unloading one of yours..

Thank you!

I can tell you there aren't very many on this side of the U.S.

I have 2 right now,and they came from down south and west. There's a guy on CL in Ohio, and he's looking for one.

There used to be a lot of them, but they rusted away.

Keep looking.

Winter comes to the East Coast, OK.  Salt is much cheaper than a new snow plow for the County road commission.  Salty slush and OEM [non phosphated] fenders, fender liners, undercarriages and door sills are mutually exclusive.  Note, factory body parts stored for replacement are phosphated, E.G. a visible fine grey coating.  Parts going directly to the assembly line "don't need" this preservation coating.  After all, they will be primed and painted within days if not hours of delivery to the assembly plant.  Explains why that replacement fender really outlasted the OEM fender on the other side of the vehicle.
