cruznude Posted July 1, 2013 Report Share Posted July 1, 2013 Okay now I've ordered my DGEV Weber from Redline and will be here wensday and I've started to take it apart and there is so damm much smog on the intake and exhaust. I've also ordered my header. Now, I want to throw away this intake and get one that has no smog shit attached to it. Who knows of someone who has one for sale or where I can purchase one new. Preferably one brand new. The way it sits right now I'll have to adapt plates to block off shit and adapt here and there. What do I need? Quote Link to comment

datzenmike Posted July 1, 2013 Report Share Posted July 1, 2013 The '78-'80 L20Bs have larger runners than the earlier L16/18. You could port match but you won't be able to get all of it. It sure won't run better with an earlier manifold. I don't see the big deal here. Quote Link to comment
