Rasp933
Whats .up. I got another question. The sidedrafts air filters r kinda getting some little amount of fuel.is the normal .or is it flooding? Quote Link to comment
72240z
Normal for the most part I would say. I never known a pair of triples that didnt spit up once in a while. Also if you pump before starting sometimes fuel runs out. Quote Link to comment
Radim
You should check float levels, on my DCOMs they'd leak fuel out the velocity stacks every now and then, adjusted float and problem solved... Quote Link to comment
TENDRIL
do you remember what you adjusted float to on your dcom's? Quote Link to comment
72240z
Well leaking fuel is a different story, they shouldnt ever just leak fuel, if they do I would most def check the floats. Even with the floats set perfect if you pump to start and the angle is right its going to run out into the filter. Fuel mist comes out when they burp too again regardless. Quote Link to comment
Stoffregen Motorsports
If the fuel pressure is too high, the needle and seat can stick open causing fuel to leak out the throat. Or maybe they just got stuck from being dry. Try hitting the top of the carb with the plastic end of a screwdriver and see if it stops. Quote Link to comment
