datsunaholic
You have the speakers hooked up to the speaker wires and not the pre-amp outputs? Quote Link to comment

I've actually tried one speaker on all four leads separately so I should have came across at least one regular speaker lead. the display is reading "equalizer" but I was assuming that the eq is a built in.....? datzenmike
Switch equalizer to OFF (turn vol down first) Quote Link to comment

What are you using for speaker (-)? Most head units don't use chassis ground for speaker (-) and don't use a common speaker (-) either. Have you searched online for the wiring diagram? I'm assuming this isn't a new unit with the wires all labelled and a manual onhand. Quote Link to comment
