bonepuzzle Posted May 25, 2013 Report Share Posted May 25, 2013 today i purchased an awesome 620, '73. this is my first datsun, but i have always loved them. she has an l18 and IS 4x4. but ill have to do some work to get that up and running. i am very excited to work on this truck. i dont know too much about how to work on cars, but this truck is a great learning opportunity. i am sure i will be coming to you guys for some advice very soon. ill post some more photos eventually. 3 Quote Link to comment

banzai510(hainz) Posted June 4, 2013 Report Share Posted June 4, 2013 if running good right now. Dont change or touch anything you dont need to. that means anything! Ignition coil, ect w/o going thru us first. Maybe build a l20 on the side for more torq. replace the antifreeze 50/50 green stuff and the oil. Quote Link to comment
bonepuzzle Posted June 4, 2013 Author Report Share Posted June 4, 2013 ^^thank you! thats exactly what i was thinking of doing. i know not to mess with a good thing. the l18 runs pretty great. doesnt struggle for power. idles nice and low. but i was looking into building up a l20, then much later on dropping that in. p.s. ill post a few pictures of the drive train soon!
