for those of you that haven't visited this datsun site here is some cool history and pics. someone recently said something about vw and datsun sharing a kinship. there is a pic of vw's and datsuns rolling off the same assembly line.:cool:

i just noticed dqami posted something about this site 2 weeks ago and got no replies. check it out if you haven't already. i know some of you have. nothing cooler than seeing datsuns being made.

fully automated robot assembly in 1976! :eek: ...at least the 620 was a good model. Worth the investment. They sold a lot of those trucks.

 

The VW/510 factory was in Austrailia. :)

So I wasn't that far off with using VW air cleaner bodies for my SUs?? Can I still claim "All Nissan Datsun" status with this newly found evidence??
