Laecaon
I need a new float for my SUs. The front float has fuel in it, and is causing my float bowl to overflow. Do you have a float? Do floats from roadsters or Z cars work? Part numbers? Link to comment
Sealik
I thought some Hitachi carbs had the same float for those SUs...? Pics of 38 float...?...... compare it to what i have. I only have 46 SUs....no fittie. Link to comment

Laecaon
And bam, Fixed. Hollar to Eagle Adam! He had a spare carb, I pulled a plastice float from it. I had brass ones. But none the less my car is running well again. It would still be good to know, as I found it very hard to find info on. I'll get pics up, or measurements. Link to comment

wayno
I got one of those for my car, and now its only kinda working. Different float type, fuel level in bowl might be different with this float and need adjustment. Link to comment

You know the saying "when it rains, it pours"? Well the new float helped, but did not restore the carb. I actually found a loose carb to manifold nut. Vacuum leak! Now why did my float die, and the nut back off at the same time? Link to comment
