Laecaon
Would a early toyota pickup 4wd kit work? I know Rough Country makes a kit for them. You may try calling them. Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Do not use shackles. Get longer U bolts and a 3" block under the axle and above the leaf springs. Fronts you can adjust the torsion bars but a couple of inches is just about it. You could do a 2" body lift as well. Quote Link to comment
Laecaon
Rear, go get new leafs made. Front... I hate torsions. Quote Link to comment
dat77sun
wont do a body lift, i hate them, toyota lifts wont work, completely different systems, rather do longer shackles than blocks, not a fan of blocks Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Take a good look at the axle and leaf springs. It's hinged at the front so a 4" shackle at the back will maybe lift the axle 2". Quote Link to comment
dat77sun
yea thats what i planned on doing mike, thats how i use to lift my toyotas Quote Link to comment
Yeti
I have a a bodylift and aftermarket upper control arms on mine but prefer the stock look. Balljoint spacers are available at 4x4parts.com, as are the aftermarket UCA. I love my truck but I think I'd probably buy a toyota before turning mine into a frankentruck. Quote Link to comment
Zlich
I asked about this in a post I had awhile back. You can use hardbody leaf springs in the back. Quote Link to comment
