For those who have done a rack, what is the best option in your opinion? My understanding is that there is basically the thule and yakima raingutter systems. Are there better options and these? demo243 Posted February 14, 2013 Report Share Posted February 14, 2013 Been thinking about putting one on my 4 door as well- no back seats in it but unfortunately the roll bar doesnt allow me to get a bike in the back...i have sold both the yakima and the thule ones- they are both good- kinda like the yakima round bars better and their lower profile knobs that tighten the rack down- cant go wrong with either... also both can usually be found used on craigslist or from fellow members Quote Link to comment
mrbigtanker Posted February 16, 2013 Report Share Posted February 16, 2013 These are Thule roof racks,they fit on any i repeat any gutter mount system.You set them were you want and then you can buy almost any accessory you want,there a little pricey but they are cool,also the cross bars you order the length you want and yes you can cut them like i did myself and you just put the end caps in and your done.They look cool and are a bit modern but they work.And by the way i dont want to scratch my bed so i put these on.lol Quote Link to comment
