Offenhauser Dual Port intake Manifold #6002

Picked this up a while back and realized I will never get around to using it.

Located in Sacramento California. Shipping should be in the ~12-15 dollar range depending on zip. Bolts directly to a Weber 32/36.  $200 obo or will trade for a flipped 510 crossmember for a KA swap.

Whats with the bars in the intake runners?

Offenhauser Dual Port intake manifolds feature completely separate runner systems for the primaries and secondaries. At low-load, the primaries feed the fuel-air charge through the smaller bottom passages at near sonic speed, improving power and efficiency. When the secondaries open, their charge goes through the bigger, cooler upper passages. Then, in turn, it is rammed into the cylinders when it encounters the high-velocity mix from the primaries. The result is better fuel economy and a 15-30 percent power increase across the whole rpm range.

While doing a little research, it shows that this intake is for a 1600 1968-1974. I'm not sure if it will work on an L-20B. It says to use a 6144 manifold on late 1974 to 1975 and 6178 for 1976-1980 L-20B. Does anyone know why? I'm not sure if it will work properly for an L-20B.

Thanks for any help on this matter.
