PtheDude
I have a L16 manifold. rusty as hell. If I blast it so I can powder it, there might not be any metal left! I have a y pipe to weld to my 620 exhaust pipe. I'd love a really nice dime Exhaust header that has minimal rust. Link to comment
datzenmike
Makes little sense. You want an L20B square exhaust manifold or an L16? L20B manifold does not use a Y pipe. You can't powder coat an exhaust manifold!!!! Link to comment
Just Joel
Actually, there are high heat powders available now said to be suitable for exhaust manifolds... Joel Link to comment

Joel Well it sure isn't the normal plastic powder coating. Maybe ceramic coating? I've never ever seen any exhaust manifold so rusty it could fall apart. Link to comment
PtheDude
It just aint purtty Mr King Rat Sir. Auburn performance coatings has a 2000 degree treatment. datzenmike
That's not an L20B manifold. It's an L16/18 but will fit an L20B It's not going to break or fall apart. Wire brush it clean where you can see it, or if of,f sand blast it and spray paint it silver high temp paint and forget it. The 510 header won't fit a truck. A header is no better than any exhaust pipe and will be rusty in a year and need replacing in a few. Headers run way hotter and oxidize faster. I wouldn't put one on for $100 for all the bother with them. Link to comment
