djk1505
Got some time today to get a bit of work done. Had to stop a tad early bc I did not order the upper bushings. Will have them in by thursday. Anyways installing all new bushings, tie rods, center link, idler are, scraped everything down and POR15'd the frame and front end. Primed and painted the sway bar and tension rods. Another day or two of work and the front end will be totally rebuilt. Want to pull the steering box and clean and drain that as well. djk1505
Only broke three bolts removing the sway bar. Need to drill them out and get new bolts. Was able to get everything else out with a bit of WD40 and time. Need to get to the junk yard and find a set of 720 leaf packs. Then finish POR 15 the frame and rear. Will try to finish up the frame this week and get the engine on the stand. Still need to seperate the engine and trans. Slowly it will come together, I figure 2-3 years before it is daily driver capable. But its fun as hell driving it now also. Quote Link to comment
djk1505
This L16 has to go. I was reading on the 91-93 stock KA they have a compression ratio of 9.0-1, and the 94-98 are 9.5-1. Could the early pistons be used on a 96 DE block? Thanks again! DJ Quote Link to comment
