MantisX620
So I needed to change my oil pan gasket and I took down the front crossmember under the oil pan. Got the oil pan all wrapped up and now I cant get the left side screw holes to line up. I tried a BFH and it didnt budge. I can get a screw in but it sits in sideways and doesnt go all the way through. Any idea how to get the crossmember to line up the way it should? Thanks all MantisX Quote Link to comment
Ranman72
pry bar and leverage to point to put screw in Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Try jacking the truck up in the middle with a piece of 2x4 under the pan... this should move the side in towards the center. Iron workers use a long tapered spike or awl to line bolt holes up. 1 Quote Link to comment
Tice
Maybe loosen the other side, and finger tighten both sides before cranking them down? Quote Link to comment
