are you looking for a zippy coupe like the Z, a truck, or a more family/passenger friendly car like a 510?

either way, 3k is plenty to get you any of the 3 in pretty good condition :) if you havent been already, start cruising craigslist

Honestly anything other than a truck is good with me. Preferably any variant of the 510. The big thing is I am looking for something I can either receive fairly mechanically stable or afford to repair into this category under my budget. Not too worried about aesthetic yet!
