What is it about this 620 Pickup?

I can't put my finger on what it is about this truck.... is there some sort flaring on the bed and fenders? Granted EVERYTHING about this truck is bad ass. I've had a lot of 510's and a few Z's over the years, but never a short bed 620 (Until Today).

 

I've only been able to find 4 pictures of this truck. Nothing looking straight at the front or the back. What did they do to the body of this truck?

From this viewpoint I can see that the bed and the cab have been joined together . . kinda like a 320 nl.

There aren't "fender flares" added. It looks like they've been pulled/the metal has been worked to bring them out. You can see it in the reflection.
