dastunboy61o
If I got my sr20 from a Nissan sentra does that matter that it is fwd? Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
Yes. You want a RWD engine. There are multiple threads about the differences here on Ratsun and many other forums. Long story short...it will not work. Don't think it will and try it anyways. It won't. For your money, bang for buck... KA long block from a Hardbody. Intake, ECU, and harness from a 1989-90 240sx. Call tuner shops to help source your parts list. Single cam KA's are trash to these guys. And if you need more power later, KA's will easily accept a turbo kit. Quote Link to comment
dastunboy61o
Ah I wasnt sure I was shooting for the sr20de not the det I'll have to find that thread now I could pick this motor up for 350 Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
You can put a FWD block on a RWD head. A lot of guys have tried and failed. But for only $350 it's worth a try. Quote Link to comment
dastunboy61o
What's the difference. Really from fwd to rwd wouldn't it be the. Mounting brackets ? Quote Link to comment

flatcat19
You know the spindles/brakes you just pilfered won't fit your current truck, right? Quote Link to comment
dastunboy61o
Yes yes I kno that I might look into some custom control arms for my 74 be lil easier for me to bolt up and go from there and hell maybe go with some other brake conversion Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
Talk to Beebani. You can get control arms from him... Then go crazy with Hardbody drop spindles and proper dual piston calipers and bigger rotors. Quote Link to comment
dastunboy61o
I was stupid from the start when wanted these small ass rotors etc why not some of those u see on the caddies the coupes or as Camaro, 370z calipers maybe those TRD u find on a Titan etc. I thought that was only for the 77? Is that for all 620s? Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
Custom means anything. Look up his sale threads. Quote Link to comment
dastunboy61o
So I can keep these d21 Spindle and totally add bigger rotors? As along as the caliper bolts to the spindle correct? Quote Link to comment
