harlow426@msn.com Posted May 31, 2012 Report Share Posted May 31, 2012 Have a STRONG l18 in my 74 620. Pulling eng/trans and swapping in l20b/5speed from a low mile 79kc rollover. Truck has 123k approx Original miles(no blowby, smoking, frt main seal leak). Original air cleaner to pan minus starter/dist. Can hear run/drive/comp test etc if interested. It really runs damn good.....it can chirp the tires in 2nd. I gotta have $275 firm + $10 if you want the four speed. I think with the right part swapping you can make a l18 that will kill a lot of mediocre l20s. I live near Eugene...100 miles south of Portland. Link to comment
