Pretty cool old picture

Recommended Posts

The details you guys pick out of these oics is just crazy!

Kind of amazing to see only one Z in all the pictures, but of the Datsuns that have survived, Z's seem to make up about 90% of them.

I found this proto-type build ...

... there are some other cool factory oics where I picked up this one:

Maybe this one has already been posted (I think it's a cool one)?

Bump ! !  Does anyone on here remember exactly where the overhead port picture in post # 8 surfaced from? If I remember it was first on NWDE but who located it? Is the resolution high enough to print out a sizable copy? Can anyone find out? I would love to add at least an 8 1/2" by 12" copy to My collection if it is possable. A poster sized print would be incredible to have on the wall ! !  Hopefully the original posting was not a thumbnail.

That is such an interesting photo. Possibly an earlier truck. No side plastic vent cutouts. Notice that the upper core support is straight, not dipping forward like a fan clutch truck would have. Also interesting is that as though it is a LHD truck, there appear to be no holes in the windshield post for a radio antenna. Wouldn't that be something if from the factory they just applied clear over the virgin sheetmetal ! ! !

Mike they did away with the vents in 77, this was likely a j-series destined truck.
