Will 510 headlight assembly fit 521

I'm having troubles finding for a complete headlight assembly for a 521 in Oz and was wondering if a 510 is the same?

521s are different.

It might be possible, with some modifications. The surface that the 521 headlight assembly bolts on to is basically flat. You might have to drill some new holes in the 510 light assembly, to match the holes in the 521 core support, and you might have to clearance the 510 assembly to make room for the two bolts that hold the front of the 521 fender. You will have to come up with a way of holding the 521 headlight door on the 510 headlight assembly, or figure out a way to make a 521 look right with 510 headlight doors.

 

Given enough time, and money, anything is possible. Using a 510 headlight assembly might be fairly easy, or it may not be. There is also a good possibly after you do the work to make the 510 headlight assembly work, some 521 headlight assemblies become available.

Thanks guys, was hoping it might as parts for the 510 are easier to get here and there are very few 521's. Will have to keep looking.
