Tomorrow I'm going to take the L20b apart (motor from my 77), send the head to napa and get a valve guide fixed. Then I'll swap it in the 73, and it should be better. The L16 in it now runs good, just seems tired to me.

 

I also plan to re-do the paint job, its only one coat of rustoleum spray can. I'm going to try to do a better job, maybe even clear coat it when I'm done painting it.

These are what you need. No, I don't have any. There are 620 dually fenders used on the longbeds with the slide-in camper.I saw these on the bay a few years ago and shoulda bought them.Stepside fenders are flat on the back with a mounting lip.These fenders are contoured to fit the bed sides.He was asking $250 for the pair.

122 was the first thing I saw.....

 

Dually datsuns are sweet tho. Missed a full stepside bed at pull a part once. Didnt even have a datsun at the time, didnt stop me from wanting it.
