A14 head with SU carbs - any parts available?

I put a pair of British SU's (HIF4) on my A14.

The head has the oval intakes and works great.

One thing I had to kluge when I did this was the heat shield, it was too wide for the intake so I split it in half and then mounted it up.

Are there any good one's available for this application?

New, NOS or used - any would be fine.

I'm not sure what I'm looking for besides something that isn't cut in half and bolted on like what I've got now.

Something that fits the SU intake manifold on an A14 head.

Guess I could get a piece of aluminum and cut some holes...

If you make your own, may want crimp the edges,or use a bead roller for stiffing.

This may be the one you have, spacing between upper carb mounting studs 9.25" Note: small metal strip bent on each end put through slots in shield.

That would be good to have for carbs that have the side mounted float bowls.

I chose the HIF model because it has bottom situated floats, this makes it so the back carb doesn't interfere with my heater inlet.

I'm not worried about how mine works, maybe I'll just take it off and have it welded together.

It only bothers me because it's a hack job.
