Pulling rear fenders on a 4door 510?

I searched but didn't come across anything, has anyone done a pull on the rear fenders of a 4 door? Mine are rolled but I need a little more room to go lower since it will rub but I don't want to mess up the factory flare too much and have it look all boo boo. I just need about 1/2" or so of a pull, if anyone has done it can you post pics plz?

In my personal experience, it's not the fender so much as the hump just inside the fender lip that rubs. Short of cutting that out, not sure what you can do.

 

And since that hump is visible when you open the door... <_<

I guess what I'm saying is, no matter how much you pull/roll the lips, that hump will always be there.

15x8 +0 with a 195/50-15 tire. Cleared the fender lip fine, but rubbed on the hump when I hit a bump. :(

Awfully hard with out modifying the body. Merlin is has done it, but you would mess up your paint.

Thanks for the replies, and yeah I was talking about pulling that bump area out some. I guess I should start looking for some less aggressive wheels at some point if I want to go lower :(

If you cut out that 90 degree angled hump, and welded in a piece of steel at a 45 degree angle, you could make it work. Won't be easy, but it will be gangsta. :cool:

That "bump" .... .. seriously DO NOT cut that "bump" ... .. . it's part of your door jam... and you will see the hole even with the door closed

Yes, but I think if you weld in a piece of metal at a 45 degree angle to replace it, you won't. ;)

Shiiiiit... I don't like these wheels enough to go through all of that, maybe if they were something super hard to find and legit.but they're Konigs

its been cut and re-welded before. ive seen pictures of it. as long as it doesnt mess up the doors edge. im going to do the mod myself..
