datsunfreak
Oddly, this website says they have them in stock for $75 each. http://viprims.com/WheelDetail2.asp?Link=1257 Quote Link to comment
NORTHDATSUN510
well that site was a no go...What was the backspacing on those wheels and where there spacers used? Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
well that site was a no go...What was the backspacing on those wheels and where there spacers used? Backspacing? No idea. They were a +35 offset with 25mm spacer, so +10 total offset. Quote Link to comment
NORTHDATSUN510
Panasports 16x7 +22 backspacing? Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
Panasports 16x7 +22 backspacing? Widely considered to be the perfect wheel for an unflared 510. That and either a 205/40-16 (damn low car) or 205/45-16 (low-ish car) and you're all set. Not exactly "hellaflush", but they generally clear everything. But with 280ZX struts up front, you might need a 5mm spacer. Quote Link to comment
NORTHDATSUN510
510 struts up front with troy ermish coilovers...well if all of this is true than I am a happy camper...cant wait till they arive :w00t: Quote Link to comment

But since I'm a nut... I would advise 5-10mm spacers and a fender lip roll on the rear. B) Reason being, these will be fairly flush up front, but not as much on the rear, so... Quote Link to comment

Z chopper
a 2 door is one thing try futofab or use first gen VW rabbit metal flares or something . 4 door - just did it...its a hellish job man... avoid it like the plague. just so you can see what merlin means here is his thread http://community.ratsun.net/topic/27400-snowballs-chance-510-rotisserie-resto-project/page__fromsearch__1 Quote Link to comment
NORTHDATSUN510
why no roll rear fenders? Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
why no roll rear fenders? It's a semi-joking reference to a big dust-up in his thread wherein a bunch of "purists" espoused the virtues to be found in not rolling your rear fender lips. I guess they like cut tires and/or pussy fitments. B) Quote Link to comment
Tristin
(Me) :poke: ("Purists") Freak and I are on the same page when it comes to rolling fender. Do it! Quote Link to comment

housew
damn this thread is old, but one of the better ones i've read on 510 wheel fitment. Pretty stoked to understand the rear control arm issue and can't wait to take a tape measure to my car and figure out whats going on. Its making the 16s sound pretty good to me, and knowing 16x7+22 with 205 40 16s will make a good baseline gets me excited. not that i don't like my current 14s, but i think i'll need a tire a little wider than 155 to get the power down, and if im going to spend money on the stance, i want to get it right. Awesome info :) Quote Link to comment
