ArchetypeDatsun
DC++ is a p2p torrent hybrid like limewire; ive never had success with those either. download utorrent, its lightwieght and completely independent. then go to a site like torrentz.eu or isohunt.com search for what you want then let it happen. the only set back to torrents is that for fast speeds you need more peers so the more obscure things can take forever Which is why I didn't stay on long even though I enjoyed a lot music months before there release lol. People who still use limewire are in the dinosaur age those programs are crap, I've had to tell a lot of my family members to take that off there computers and the answer you get back is always the same (Why? How am I suppose to get music?) lol. Quote Link to comment
king bee66
the cool thing about the 2 torrent sites i mentioned is that they are torrent site crawlers, so you can search piratebay, mininova and all the others at the same time. demonoid has is a good site too because it will have your lesser known bands and movies with dedicated uploaders. i can dust off my account and send out some invites if anyone is interested in one. just to be clear, i dont download indepents, only megalabels. for example im not going to give capitol or the MJ estate money by bying a 14$ beatles album. a band that i see at some hole in the wall club i will buy directly from them Quote Link to comment
MicroMachinery
I got that too, but all other sources says "Delayed" Not "Dead" It is not over. These bills still could come back. one battle at a time  Of COURSE they will be back. It's the government; they're always gonna come at the people with some controlling horseshit. However, this is a HUGE victory for the internet community at large. We now know that we have voice. We now know we can band together for a purpose, and they see that we're capable of it as well. Don't discount this battle that was won, they'll surely be back with something else, but now we know that we don't have to lay down and take it; we can stand. Quote Link to comment
I'm BLUE
Wouldn't be a bad idea to get a petition going ahead of time ... i have not searched yet Boston tea party ... anyone? But seriously ... signing petitions where you can, writing Congress, and being active in this cause ... has definitely Provence to be effective ... i totally agree micro ! Signing petitions from here on out ... would be a good start. Quote Link to comment
