Datsman620
So im working away @ my shop, and this farmer(Harvey)comes in and say,s a few things about his flat deck dually. And then procced's to complain about the little sh!t box's (actual word's used) [domestic owner's sheeez!!]that are in his yard,@ the farm !And of course me being the little car freak that i am. I asked what kind of poop box's he is reffering too, and of course he didnt have a clue, knowing that these were import's, cause what else do people use the reference (sh!t box) for!! i asked what they looked like and he said a couple of trucks and a wagon !!!!! (aaaaohhhh attention paid in full) :w00t: REEEAAALLY does it say datsun on it, i ask and low and behold (yea i think thats what it says) and at this point and time i'm going through a divorce (so i almost started crying) fundage very minimal at this point and time. Damn its sad i said, (and he says) you get these out of my yard you can have them, so i say, i will be out this weekend too look @ them and started to vibrate and wonder what these gleeming jewels might be. But my buddy drive's me out too this farm, and as we are pulling past the house. I start bouncing around all excited (ITS A DIME GOON) :hyper: My buddy is laughing @ me cause his quote (like a 5yr old on christmas) I jump from the RHD Terrano, and at this point i wanted to kiss anyone. But @ this point harvey comes over and start's showing us this beautiful (with very minimal rust for the prairies)510 goon, and he is saying, i will hual this to your house for you as well, and i'm like (dude really!) then i have to @least give you somthing for it (Sir) :o but needless to say he bring's it to my shop and follow's me to my house and we unload it and it has taken my heart away from my Silvia (she is sad) and out side for the winter, rather than the goon (priorities)right! but in process of off loading a ton of 620 parts to a fellow Datsun friend (fellow datsun packrat)so i think this is perfect compensation, for losing one love and gaining another. Yay for me (what ex-wife) (sorry i double spaced it cause it gave matt a headache)but L18 and dogleg 5-Speed for sale soon Quote Link to comment

datzenmike
Trading one mistress for another I would have said that you were fragile and on the rebound. Datsuns are the best mistresses... Your Datsun will never get mad if you enjoy driving another car even if younger than she is. Your Datsun never has a headache. Your Datsun doesn't mind if you want to drive her at 3 AM. Your Datsun won't get upset if you let a friend drive her. Your Datsun can be driven and enjoyed all month long. Your Datsun won't take you to court for alimony if you get rid of her. Your Datsun doesn't mind if you want to drive her in public. Your Datsun doesn't need flowers before letting you put the key in the ignition. Quote Link to comment

datzenmike
'60 and '70s wagons (of all makes) had them for directing air onto the back window to keep dust off. It was an after market thing. Quote Link to comment
