I missed out on getting that red 1200 in California on ebay last month by 200 bucks...Looking for a good solid 1200 fastback. Been looking forever to replace the one that was stolen and trashed , 22 years ago( loved that car).....Anywho, trying to do this kinda cheaply( ya i know, stupid) but anybody got a lead or know of any fairly nice 1200. I see the one grey/silver one in portland, but it's a bit out my price range....Looking to maybe spend where that Red one finished off(3400) Give a shout Link to comment

powerbench Posted November 11, 2011 Author Report Share Posted November 11, 2011 Thanks Duncan, the few on the LA craigslist are erndogs, I spoke to him last night and he's gonna get me some more pics of the one that kinda has me thinking. That car that is at the shop Rotary510, does it run ? Does it have any of the grill and bumpers? I kinda want a complete car that drives that i can pick at slowly. I'm gonna use it as my driver while i pull my 68 gmc apart and get all the body work done and finish off my engine and drive train. Just looking for the best base to start with. There was a 1200 race car in Santa Rosa, and I tried to e-mail a couple time( said it was registared and titled....so i was hoping it still had most of the original dash and stuff with a cage) ,but i think that the guy must think I'm a c/l scammer....so he's out Link to comment
