Alex Datsun Posted October 25, 2011 Report Share Posted October 25, 2011 This has been my daily for a year, till about two months ago where i started the rebuild, long story short this car was a friend of mine while i was building my Z31 but it threw a rod, he hadnt messed with the car cause the motor gave so i aquired it and this it what it looked like the day after i got it running i put tokicos blues on but things just didnt turn out for the better with the ride height I tried some S13 KTS coils but didn't get the ride height i quite wanted so i didn't get the rears ever and left the tokicos and looked like this Went for drive with friends, found out worm out drum brakes well.....heat up fast and creates some awesome pedal droppage. Oh well shit happens and it was my turn this time. Got new sidemirrors (asshole in picture beware) After a few months i decided to buy a rebuild kit for my l24 i purchased with some gooodies,along with some other misc stuff like but the motor hadnt been run for sometime.....so it looked like this... http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/bb251/Mistah_Mofro/IMAG0310.jpg[/img] i got some new pistons/wristpins/rings, msa valve springs, arp main studs and connectiing rod bolts, also cleaned & painted the block: stock on the right This is all kinda up to date now, i will keep with the updates but some things i haven't listed http://i210.photobucket.com/albums/bb251/Mistah_Mofro/IMAG0044.jpg[/img] This is the most updated pic of the z Did some stuff to it. I want legit wheels no xxr or rota bull crap lol, but until the green shows up im stuck with them. I might make a build thread but everything will be on my blog soon. Actually im looking for them since there more in my price range and one of thee lightest out thrtr. Just hard to find 16x9 -x10, I dont think i want 17's but i would need some examples. Just for the sake of having a little visual aid, here is a set of 17 inch grids on a miata. I feel like the tires are really small and the car is sitting pretty solid. The 17s don't look huge, i think you could pull it off. This car is pretty bad ass. 17x9 CCW Quote Link to comment
