Help Lowering my truck

Recommended Posts

when I put my 4" blocks in the driveshaft bound. is this common , do I need to shorten my driveshaft? 3's seem to be ok but it is not enough for my taste.

adjusted tortion bars about 3" no problem but I want to go lower, I realise I will have to cut down or loose the bumpstops and re-index the tortion bars.

how low can I go? any insite would be appreciated. Thanks

I spaced my carrier up 1 3/4 inches. Obviously youll need to buy new grade 8 nuts & bolts....

i also raised my front shock towers 2 1/2 inches & installed new stock shocks [not in pic]....

I then re-index'd the torsion bars, i still have suspension travel & it rides fine. Bump stops have been removed/tossed...

^^^that is a good idea with the shock towers, I'm not quite sure what you mean by re indexing the torsions? I will look for more info on that, that's a badass wink mirror you got in your truck, I still have one from back in the late 80's in the garage, lol
