Datsoon
when I put my 4" blocks in the driveshaft bound. is this common , do I need to shorten my driveshaft? 3's seem to be ok but it is not enough for my taste. adjusted tortion bars about 3" no problem but I want to go lower, I realise I will have to cut down or loose the bumpstops and re-index the tortion bars. how low can I go? any insite would be appreciated. Thanks Quote Link to comment
]2eDeYe
You can add spacers to the carrier bearing to help you driveline angles. I think 1" was about the right size spacer. Quote Link to comment
Bleach
I used a 1.25 inch diameter box tube for a spacer. I had 3" blocks with a removed leaf. Should the similar to a 4 inch drop. on my kingcab I had no driveline issues. I hope it works for yours Quote Link to comment
Datsoon
That makes sence. Ill do that . Thanks Quote Link to comment
Datsoon
Thanks for the qick info. I would go 6" if I could but it looks like I might have to 4-link it for that type of drop. Quote Link to comment

Pacific coast Datsun
I spaced my carrier up 1 3/4 inches. Obviously youll need to buy new grade 8 nuts & bolts.... i also raised my front shock towers 2 1/2 inches & installed new stock shocks [not in pic].... I then re-index'd the torsion bars, i still have suspension travel & it rides fine. Bump stops have been removed/tossed... Quote Link to comment
tyson
^^^that is a good idea with the shock towers, I'm not quite sure what you mean by re indexing the torsions? I will look for more info on that, that's a badass wink mirror you got in your truck, I still have one from back in the late 80's in the garage, lol Quote Link to comment
